I arrived in Canada three years ago without knowing anyone. Over the years, I met over 200 people for coffee chats, attended events in my field, learned to network and it led me to land a job in my field and industry. I currently work as an Associate Brand Manager to one of the largest department stores in Canada.

I am a Brazilian marketing professional with over seven years of experience in branding, product and channel management. I have spent most of my career internationally working for retail companies in Brazil, China and Canada such as Lojas Renner, Telecom Italia (TIM), Votorantim Cimentos, Canadian Tire and Kimberly Clark. I currently work at one of the largest consumer packaged good companies as a Senior Associate Brand Manager.
I volunteer in different institutions offering mentorship and conducting job search and career-focused workshops on newcomers and refugees that are transitioning over to the Canadian Labour Market.
I am an active Linkedin author with daily posts about retail, marketing, career and networking tips with over 10,000 followers.
